JunkGuard ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI-powered SMS spam blocker developed by Canificlabs. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
JunkGuard does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers. All SMS analysis is performed entirely on your device using an on-device AI model. No internet connection is required for spam classification.
The app reads SMS messages solely for the purpose of classifying them as spam, normal, promotional, or transactional. SMS content is processed locally on your device and is never sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
JunkGuard uses a TensorFlow Lite machine learning model that runs entirely on your device. The AI classification happens offline without any data leaving your phone.
If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous user identifier and subscription status. No personal information, SMS content, or device data is shared with RevenueCat. Message classifications and user preferences are stored locally on your device using SQLite and SharedPreferences. This data is not accessible to us or any third party.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in the app.
JunkGuard does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since the app does not collect personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations.
Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted, the risk of data breach is minimized. Your SMS messages and classifications are protected by your device's built-in security.
You can delete all locally stored app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data through your device settings.
